• Caitlyn Cooney -- Owner & Printmaker

I've been working in Letterpress and other forms of traditional print media since I was 14. I started Charlotte Mason Printing Company in August of 2016 in order to help develop a letterpress and print community in Pensacola. I specialize in everything from simple graphic design and digital media work to producing specialty letterpress suites for your event or business. Let's talk shop!

We create hand printed goods including posters, stationary, greeting cards, and other custom work. CMPC's mission is to promote and preserve the letterpress printing process and represent an artistic aspect of Pensacola’s rich history in order to integrate and educate the community on the modern renaissance of classical letterpress.

  • Tim Bednarczyk -- Graphic Design & Production

I joined the team in 2017 right off the back of getting my graphic design degree. I fell in love with printmaking at school, and a fateful class workshop led me to the CMPC studio. At the end of the workshop, Caitlyn mentioned the word “internship,” and I was in. My internship quickly grew into an apprenticeship, and my drive to explore this historic medium has led me to be an official part of the studio.

Now as a printmaker and designer, I print unique pieces alongside Caitlyn, as well as design for local businesses as part of CMPC. It’s a beautiful blend of digital creation and tactile printing. I’m proud to call myself a printmaker, to be a part of this community, and to preserve this historic process.

So Who’s Charlotte?

Charlotte Mason was my grandmother on my father's side. Even though she passed when I was young, I feel that her personality is embodied in a lot of what I do. My family has always told me how similar we are, what she was like when she was my age, and given me this quaint picture of what a wonderful woman she was. Her vibe was everything I want my company to be - hard working, passionate, sweet, southern, and a bit feminine.
